EuroACE is a member or partner of several initiatives promoting energy efficiency at large.

The Coalition for Energy Savings

eceee – European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy

Construction 2050 Alliance

The Coalition for Energy Savings strives to make energy efficiency and savings the first consideration of energy policies and the driving force towards a secure, sustainable and competitive European Union. Its membership unites businesses, professionals, local authorities, trade unions and civil society organisations in pursuit of this goal. The Coalition calls on the EU to commit itself to a 40% energy saving target by 2030, and to step up policies, measures and investments in order to stop energy waste and tap the considerable energy savings potentials. Adrian JOYCE, Secretary General of EuroACE, was  Chairman of the Coalition for Energy Savings between June 2017 and December 2020.

eceee is Europe’s largest and oldest NGO dedicated to energy efficiency, which generates and provides evidence-based knowledge and analysis of policies, and facilitates cooperation and networking through Summer Studies, workshops, social media, website and newsletter. eceee members are private and public organisations. Adrian JOYCE, Secretary General of EuroACE, was Board Member of eceee for six years (2011-2017).

The renewed Construction 2050 Alliance was launched during the High Level Tripartite Strategic Forum for the Construction sector, an event organised by the European Commission on the 17th of June 2020. The Alliance comprises over 40 different stakeholders and it is a collaborative effort to build the sustainable Europe of tomorrow and to show the unique importance of the construction sector to the European institutions and civil society, especially in light of the challenges stemming from the COVID-19 crisis. EuroACE is part of the Construction 2050 Alliance.

EEIF – Energy Efficiency Industrial Forum

BUILD UP

EEIF is a platform of European industries providing a full range of energy-efficient products and services. Members contribute to energy efficiency-related revenues of over € 150 billion annually to the EU GDP. EuroACE is holding the rotating Secretariat of the EEIF during the second half of 2020.

The BUILD UP initiative was established by the European Commission in 2009 to support EU Member States in implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. The web portal is intended to reap the benefits of Europe’s collective intelligence on energy reduction in buildings for all relevant audiences, by exchanging best working practices and knowledge. EuroACE is a partner of BUILD UP.
